When I was young I took a Drink,
after a few I didn’t think
that this pretty bottle with the long neck,
would steer my life into a wreck
then someone said, Hey try this!
And when I did it fulfilled a wish
that I wouldn’t feel embarrassed, shy or ashamed,
it made me strong, I was in the game.
I was on my way to a dream come true,
but it was a mirage a chemical coup
they took over my mind, my thoughts, my words.
They took me prisoner,
the warnings I heard.
I was on a run, a whirl, a tear
it was no longer a dream
but a full-length nightmare.
